Terms of Use

This Secure File Transfer solution provides for the encrypted transfer of data. All data processed by this solution will be automatically deleted after 14 days.

Before you transfer data, please confirm that you have the consent or approval of the client to do so and that you are appropriately safeguarding the privacy and security of the data, including complying with applicable terms, rules and regulations. Cross-border data transfers can raise numerous considerations, including the following:

• Data transfer regulations and/or privacy laws (e.g., GDPR; CPPA; China’s Data Security Law and Personal Information Protection Law; Export Controls);

• Client terms (e.g., requirements in engagement letter(s), outside counsel guidelines, data protection agreement(s) that impose various requirements on the handling and destruction of data, including security requirements for transfers and third parties);

• Orders and agreements (e.g., protective orders, confidentiality agreements and destruction obligations); and

• Jurisdictional considerations (e.g., ensuring processing data in a given location does not inadvertently create jurisdiction in that location).
